現代美術−茨木特別展「Transfer」

’80年代半ばよりボール紙、発泡スチロール、石膏、針金など軽い素材を用いて制作を開始。それらを含む場の空気にも関心を寄せる。近年キノコへの興味や“私”について考える制作を継続中。2013年 Shizubi Project 3 “わた死としてのキノコ”／静岡市美術館、2023年 遅れるものの行方 ／水戸芸術館現代美術ギャラリーなど。

In the mid-1980s he began to work with lightweight materials such as cardboard, polystyrene foam, plaster and wire. He is also interested in the atmosphere of the places where these materials are used. In recent years, he has continued to pursue his interest in mushrooms and the idea of ‘I’. 2013 Shizubi Project 3 ‘Mushrooms as Wata-shi’ / Shizuoka City Museum of Art, 2023 Whereabouts of the Delayed Things / Art Tower Mito Contemporary Art Gallery, etc.

2017年に京都嵯峨芸術大学（現：嵯峨美術大学）大学院を修了、現在は京都を拠点に活動しています。
これまで視覚的に柔らかさを感じる形を模索し、主に肉体や身体の動きをモチーフにしています。最近では「mom！」や「レスラー」といったタイトルの作品を発表しました。

Completed postgraduate studies at Kyoto Saga University of Arts (now Saga University of Art and Design) in 2017, currently based and working in Kyoto.
I have been exploring visually soft forms, and have mainly used the human body or physical movements as motifs. I recently presented works titled ‘mom!’ and ‘wrestler’.

国内外の展覧会やアートフェアに参加多数。近年ではマスキングテープを画材として用いたコラージュのようなレイヤーとテクスチャーを持つ絵画作品を多く発表している。これらの手法を通じて、対象を視覚的に認識することの不確かさや、絵画と鑑賞者という伝統的な二元論を超えた絵画作品のあり方を探求している。

I aspire to create paintings that evoke a gaze where the distinction between subject and object becomes blurred. When a person views the painting, s/he is simultaneously being seen by the painting, and both sides continuously exchange the stance of “seeing/being seen”. When transcending the boundary of the viewer and the viewed (subject and object merging), an “eternal gaze” naturally arises as an undifferentiated entity. It is my aim to create paintings that evoke such a gaze.

1988年 奈良県出身。彫刻家。大学院在学中より京都市左京区にある北白川美術村のスタジオで制作を始める。私たちの傍らに当たり前のように存在している重力や気温、空気や水の循環などの自然現象と関わる独自の手法による作品制作や、里山での野外芸術企画の運営などの活動を行っている。

Sculptor, b. 1988, born in Nara. He began working in a studio at the Kita Shirakawa Art Village in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, while still a postgraduate student. He creates artworks using unique methods that explore natural phenomena such as gravity, temperature, air and water circulation that exist alongside us as a matter of course, and leads outdoor art projects in Satoyama.

形の余剰を削ぎ落とした純粋な構造は、周囲との対比のなかで「存在すること」の本質を直感させる。
そこへ呼応する形状と色彩の作為は個としての輪郭を与え、その佇まいは観る者に存在への問いを静かに照らし返す。

A pure structure, stripped of all excess, intuitively reveals the essence of being through contrast with its surroundings.
In response to it, the deliberate interplay of form and subtle hues gives shape to individuality, while its quiet presence gently reflects upon the viewer, inviting contemplation of existence.
